കൊച്ചി: സംസ്ഥാനം കൈവരിച്ച പുരോഗതിയുടെ സൂചികയാണ് വ്യാവസായിക മേഖലയുടെ പൊതുവായ കരുത്താര്‍ജിക്കലും പൊതുമേഖലാ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളുടെ വളര്‍ച്ചയുമെന്ന് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പിണറായി വിജയന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. കേരള സര്‍ക്കാരിന് കീഴിലുള്ള പൊതുമേഖല സ്ഥാപനമായ കേരള ഇലക്ട്രിക്കല്‍ ആന്‍ഡ് അലൈഡ് എഞ്ചിനീയറിങ് കമ്പനിയുടെ (കെല്‍) മാമലയിലെ പവര്‍ ട്രാന്‍സ്‌ഫോര്‍മര്‍ നിര്‍മാണ യൂണിറ്റിന്റെയും പള്‍സ് പവര്‍ ഇലക്ട്രിക് വെഹിക്ക്ള്‍ കമ്പനിയുമായി ചേര്‍ന്ന് സ്ഥാപിച്ച വൈദ്യുത വാഹന റീചാര്‍ജിങ് സ്റ്റേഷന്റെയും ഉദ്ഘാടനം വീഡിയോ കോണ്‍ഫറന്‍സിങ്ങിലൂടെ നിര്‍വഹിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം. സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാരിന് കീഴിലുള്ള പൊതുമേഖലാ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞ അഞ്ച് വര്‍ഷത്തിനിടെ വന്‍ മുന്നേറ്റമാണ് നടത്തിയത്. നഷ്ടത്തിലേക്ക് കൂപ്പുകുത്തിയിരുന്ന മിക്ക സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളും ഇക്കാലത്ത് ലാഭം കൈവരിച്ചു. പൊതുമേഖലാ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളെ ഉദ്ധരിക്കാന്‍ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ പദ്ധതികള്‍ ആവിഷ്‌കരിച്ച് നടപ്പാക്കി. ഈ മുന്നേറ്റം അതിന്റെ ഫലമാണെന്നും മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി വ്യക്തമാക്കി. കേന്ദ്ര സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ അടച്ചുപൂട്ടാന്‍ ഒരുങ്ങുന്ന സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന കേന്ദ്ര പൊതുമേഖലാ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്‍ ഏറ്റെടുക്കാനും സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ നടപടി സ്വീകരിക്കുമെന്നും മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.
കെല്‍ മാമല യൂണിറ്റില്‍ നടന്ന ചടങ്ങില്‍ വ്യവസായ മന്ത്രി ഇ.പി. ജയരാജന്‍ അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. കെല്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ള പൊതുമേഖലാ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്‍ നവീകരണത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി വൈവിധ്യമായ സംരംഭങ്ങളിലേക്ക് കടക്കണമെന്ന് മന്ത്രി ഇ.പി. ജയരാജന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. 10 വര്‍ഷം പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കിയ പൊതുമേഖലാ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിലെ താല്‍കാലിക ജീവനക്കാരെ സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തുമെന്നും മന്ത്രി വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ചടങ്ങില്‍ പവര്‍ ട്രാന്‍സ്‌ഫോര്‍മറിന്റെ ആദ്യ വില്‍പന കെഎസ്ഇബി ഡിസ്ട്രിബ്യൂഷന്‍ ഡയറക്ടര്‍ പി. കുമാരന് നല്‍കി കൊണ്ട് മന്ത്രി നിര്‍വഹിച്ചു. വൈദ്യുതി മന്ത്രി എം.എം. മണി വീഡിയോ കോണ്‍ഫറന്‍സിങ്ങിലൂടെ ചടങ്ങിന് ആശംസ നേര്‍ന്നു. കെല്ലിന്റെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തില്‍ എന്‍ഐടി കോഴിക്കോട്, കൊച്ചിന്‍ യൂണിവേഴ്‌സിറ്റി, തിരുവനന്തപുരം എന്‍ജിനീയറിംഗ് കോളേജിനോട് അനുബന്ധിച്ച് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന ട്രെസ്റ്റ് റിസേര്‍ച്ച് പാര്‍ക്ക്, തൃശ്ശൂര്‍ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ എന്‍ജിനീയറിംഗ് കോളേജ്, സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ മറ്റ് മികച്ച എന്‍ജിനീയറിംഗ് കോളേജുകള്‍ എന്നിവയുമായി ചേര്‍ന്ന് ഇലക്ടിക്കല്‍ മേഖലയില്‍ സ്ഥാപിച്ച ഇന്‍ഡസ്ട്രി യൂണിവേഴ്‌സിറ്റി ചെയര്‍ വി.പി. സജീന്ദ്രന്‍ എംഎല്‍എ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു.
വ്യവസായ വകുപ്പ് പ്രിന്‍സിപ്പല്‍ സെക്രട്ടറി എ.പി.എം. മുഹമ്മദ് ഹനീഷ്, കെല്‍ ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ അഡ്വ. വര്‍ക്കല ബി. രവികുമാര്‍, എംഡി കേണല്‍ ഷാജി എം. വര്‍ഗീസ്, വടവുകോട് ബ്ലോക്ക് പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡന്റ് അശോകന്‍ വി.ആര്‍, തിരുവാണിയൂര്‍ ഗ്രാമ പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡന്റ് പ്രകാശ് സി.ആര്‍ തുടങ്ങിയവര്‍ ചടങ്ങില്‍ സംസാരിച്ചു.
സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ അനുവദിച്ച 12.5 കോടി രൂപയ്ക്കാണ് പവര്‍ ട്രാന്‍സ്‌ഫോര്‍മര്‍ നിര്‍മാണ പ്ലാന്റ് സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. 10 എംവിഎ വരെ ശേഷിയുള്ള ട്രാന്‍സ്‌ഫോര്‍മറുകള്‍ ഈ പ്ലാന്റില്‍ നിര്‍മിക്കാനാകും.
