കൊച്ചി: കേന്ദ്ര സര്‍ക്കാരിന്റെ വ്യവസായിക ഉല്‍പ്പാദന പ്രോത്സാഹന പദ്ധതിയായ പ്രൊഡക്ഷന്‍ ലിങ്ക്ഡ് ഇന്‍സെന്റീവ് (പിഎല്‍ഐ) പദ്ധതി പ്രകാരമുള്ള ഇളവുകള്‍ ഡ്രോണ്‍ നിര്‍മാണ രംഗത്തെ പ്രമുഖരായ ഐഡിയഫോര്‍ജ് ടെക്‌നോളജി ലിമിറ്റഡിന് ലഭിച്ചു. ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ ഡ്രോണുകള്‍ വികസിപ്പിക്കുന്നിനും അവയുടെ അനുബന്ധ ഉപകരണങ്ങളുടെ നിര്‍മാണത്തിനുമാണ് വ്യോമയാന മന്ത്രാലയത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് കമ്പനിക്ക് ധനസഹായം ലഭിച്ചത്. പിഎല്‍ഐ പദ്ധതി പ്രകാരം 23 ഡ്രോണ്‍ ഉല്‍പ്പാദന കമ്പനികള്‍ക്കാണ് ധനസഹായം അനുവദിച്ചത്. 2022-23 സാത്തിക വര്‍ഷം ഏകദേശം 30 കോടി രൂപയാണ് മന്ത്രാലയം വിതരണം ചെയ്തത്. പിഎല്‍ഐ പദ്ധതി വഴിയുള്ള സഹായം രാജ്യത്ത് തദ്ദേശീയ ഉല്‍പ്പാദനത്തിന് ആക്കം കൂട്ടുമെന്നും ഇറക്കുമതിയെ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നത് കുറയ്ക്കാനും സ്വയംപര്യാപ്ത കൈവരിക്കാനും പ്രോത്സാഹനമാണെന്നും ഐഡിയഫോര്‍ജ് സിഇഒ അങ്കിത് മേത്ത പറഞ്ഞു.
