മ്യൂസിക് വിഭാഗത്തിലെ പി. ജി. വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച ശങ്കരസ്തുതികളോടെ ആരംഭിച്ച സംഗീതസപര്യക്ക് ശേഷം നടന്ന പൊതുസമ്മേളനത്തിൽ വൈസ് ചാൻസലർ ഡോ. എം. വി. നാരായണൻ അധ്യക്ഷനായിരുന്നു. പ്രോ. വൈസ് ചാൻസലർ പ്രൊഫ. കെ. മുത്തുലക്ഷ്മി വിവിധ എൻഡോവ്മെന്റുകൾ വിതരണം ചെയ്തു. രജിസ്ട്രാർ പ്രൊഫ. എം. ബി. ഗോപാലകൃഷ്ണൻ, ഡോ. ജി. ശ്രീവിദ്യ എന്നിവർ പ്രസംഗിച്ചു. ഉച്ചകഴിഞ്ഞ് കൂത്തമ്പലത്തിൽ ഭരതനാട്യം, മോഹിനിയാട്ടം, സംഗീതക്കച്ചേരി എന്നിവയും നടന്നു.
