നിര്‍മാണ പ്രക്രിയകള്‍ ലളിതമാക്കി മികച്ച പ്രവര്‍ത്തനക്ഷമത ഉറപ്പാക്കുന്നതിന് ഒരു സ്ഥലത്ത് തന്നെ വന്‍തോതിലുള്ള ഉത്പാദനം കേന്ദ്രീകരിക്കുക എന്നതാണ് തങ്ങളുടെ കാഴ്ചപ്പാടെന്ന് മാന്‍ ഗ്രൂപ്പ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ജോണ്‍ മാന്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ഉത്പാദനം നാല് മടങ്ങ് വര്‍ധിക്കുന്നതോടൊപ്പം പുതിയ ഫാക്ടറിയിലൂടെ പ്രത്യക്ഷ തൊഴിലില്‍ 50 ശതമാനം വര്‍ധനവുണ്ടാകുമെന്നതും ഏറെ സന്തോഷകരമാണെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. ഇതിന് പുറമേ കര്‍ണാടക, ആന്ധ്രപ്രദേശ്, തെലങ്കാന, കേരളം എന്നീ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലെ കര്‍ഷകര്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ 10,000-ലേറെ പേര്‍ക്ക് തൊഴില്‍ അവസരങ്ങള്‍ ഒരുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. ബ്യാഡ്ഗിയിലെ കമ്പനി ഭൂമിയുടെ മൂന്നിലൊന്ന് ഭാഗം മാത്രമാണ് പുതിയ ഫാക്ടറിക്കായി ഉപയോഗിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്. അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ കൂടുതല്‍ വികസനത്തിന് സാധ്യതകളുണ്ടെന്നും ജോണ്‍ മാന്‍ കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ത്തു.
2019-ല്‍ മാന്‍ കാന്‍കോറിന്റെ സുവര്‍ണ ജൂബിലിയോട് അനുബന്ധിച്ച് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചതാണ് നിലവിലുള്ള ബ്യാഡ്ഗി യൂണിറ്റിലെ പുതിയ ഗ്രീന്‍ ഫീല്‍ഡ് പദ്ധതി. ഉടമസ്ഥ കമ്പനിയായ മാന്‍ ഈ പദ്ധതിയില്‍ നേരിട്ടുള്ള വിദേശ നിക്ഷേപമായി 200 കോടിയിലേറെ രൂപ നിക്ഷേപിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഫ്രാന്‍സ് ആസ്ഥാനമായ മാന്‍, ലോകത്തിലെ തന്നെ അഞ്ചാമത്തെ വലിയ സുഗന്ധവ്യഞ്ജന സംസ്‌കരണ സ്ഥാപനമാണ്. മാന്‍ കാന്‍കോറിന്റെ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ നിര്‍മാണ യൂണിറ്റാണ് ഇപ്പോള്‍ ബ്യാഡ്ഗിയിലെ ഫാക്ടറി.
1969-70 വര്‍ഷത്തില്‍ ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ സ്‌പൈസ് എക്സ്ട്രാക്ഷന് യൂണിറ്റ് സ്ഥാപിച്ച ആദ്യ കമ്പനിയാണ് മാന്‍ കാന്‍കോറെന്ന് കമ്പനി എക്‌സിക്യുട്ടിവ് ഡയറക്ടറും സിഇഒയുമായ ഡോ. ജീമോന്‍ കോര ഉദ്ഘാടനച്ചടങ്ങില്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. 50 ഏക്കറോളം വരുന്ന ഭൂമിയില്‍ 1.5 ലക്ഷം ച.അടി വിസ്തൃതിയിലാണ് പുതിയ ഫാക്ടറി നിര്‍മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ശാസ്ത്രീയമായ നിര്‍മാണരീതിയുടെ വികസനത്തോടൊപ്പം ബിസിനസ് നടത്തിപ്പില്‍ അത്യാധുനിക സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യകളുടെ സംയോജനത്തിനും സഹായകമായ പുതിയ പ്ലാന്റ്, കമ്പനിയുടെ ഉത്പാദനക്ഷമത വളരെയധികം വര്‍ധിപ്പിക്കും. നാച്ചുറല്‍ കളറുകള്‍, നാച്ചുറല്‍ ആന്റിഓക്‌സിഡന്റുകള്‍, പേഴ്‌സണല്‍ കെയര്‍ ഇന്‍ഗ്രേഡിയന്റ്‌സ് തുടങ്ങിയ മേഖലകള്‍ കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ചുള്ള കമ്പനിയുടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പുതിയ ഫാക്ടറി കൂടുതല്‍ ഊര്‍ജം പകരുമെന്നും ജീമോന്‍ കോര വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
കൃഷി സ്ഥലത്തിന് സമീപമായി നിര്‍മാണ യൂണിറ്റെന്ന കമ്പനിയുടെ വീക്ഷണത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായാണ് പരിസ്ഥിതി സൗഹൃദമായി നിര്‍മിച്ച പുതിയ ഫാക്ടറി. മുളകിന് പുറമേ റോസ്‌മേരി, വിവിധയിനം സുഗന്ധവ്യഞ്ജനങ്ങള്‍ തുടങ്ങിയവയുടെ സംസ്‌കരണത്തിനും അനുയോജ്യമായതാണ് ഈ പ്ലാന്റ്. സീറോ വേസ്റ്റ് മാനേജ്‌മെന്റ് സംവിധാനമാണ് പ്ലാന്റിന്റെ മറ്റൊരു സവിശേഷത. നിര്‍മാണത്തിനിടെ ഉത്പാദിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ബയോമാസ് ബോയിലറുകളിലും, മാലിന്യസംസ്‌കരണ പ്ലാന്റില്‍ ഉത്പാദിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന വാതകം ഫാക്ടറി കാന്റീനിലും ഇന്ധനമായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു. മാലിന്യ സംസ്‌കരണ പ്ലാന്റില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള വെള്ളം ജലസേചനത്തിനും ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു.
നേരത്തെ കാന്‍കോര്‍ ഇന്‍ഗ്രേഡിയന്റ്‌സ് ലിമിറ്റഡ് എന്നറിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന മാന്‍ കാന്‍കോര്‍ ഇന്‍ഗ്രേഡിയന്റ്‌സ് 1969-ലാണ് സ്ഥാപിതമായത്. എന്നാല്‍ സുഗന്ധവ്യഞ്ജന വ്യാപാരത്തില്‍ കമ്പനിയുടെ വേരുകള്‍ 1857 മുതല്‍ക്ക് തന്നെ ലോകത്തിന്റെ സുഗന്ധവ്യഞ്ജന തലസ്ഥാനമായി അറിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന കൊച്ചിയിലുണ്ട്.
