ബിസിനസ് ഓപ്പറേഷന്‍സ്, അണ്ടര്‍ റൈറ്റിങ്‌സ്, ക്ലെയിമുകള്‍, സെയില്‍സ്, മാര്‍ക്കറ്റിങ്, ഡിസ്ട്രിബ്യൂഷന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയ മേഖലകളിലെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തന പാടവം ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിനുണ്ട്. ഐസിഐസിഐ ലൊംബാര്‍ഡിനൊപ്പം ജോലി ആരംഭിച്ച് ഒരു ദശാബ്ദക്കാലം ഹെല്‍ത്ത് മാനേജുമെന്റ് വിഭാഗം വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റായി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചു. പിന്നീട് റിലയന്‍സ് ജനറല്‍ ഇന്‍ഷുറന്‍സ് കമ്പനി ലിമിറ്റഡില്‍ ചേര്‍ന്ന് തുടക്കത്തില്‍ ചീഫ് ഓപ്പറേറ്റിങ് ഓഫീസറായും തുടര്‍ന്ന് ചീഫ് ഡിസ്ട്രിബ്യൂഷന്‍ ഓഫീസറായും മികവുകാണിച്ചു. വില്പന, വിതരണം, വിപണനം, റീട്ടെയില്‍-ഗവണ്‍മെന്റ് ബിസിനസുകളില്‍ തന്ത്രപരമായ സ്ഥാനങ്ങളും അദ്ദേഹം ഏറ്റെടുത്തു.
