തിരുവനന്തപുരം: അപൂര്‍വ്വ ജനിതക വൈകല്യം ബാധിച്ച പിഞ്ചോമനയുടെ ചികിത്സയ്ക്കായി ക്രൗഡ് ഫണ്ടിംഗ് പ്ലാറ്റ്‌ഫോമായ മിലാപിലൂടെ സമാഹരിച്ചത് 14.3 കോടി രൂപ. എസ്എംഎ ടൈപ്പ് -1 എന്ന അപൂര്‍വ്വ വൈകല്യം ബാധിച്ച 11 മാസം പ്രായമുള്ള പൂനെ സ്വദേശിയായ വേദികയുടെ ചികിത്സയ്ക്ക് 16 കോടിരൂപ വിലമതിപ്പുള്ള സോല്‍ജെന്‍സ്മ( zolgensma) എന്ന കുത്തിവെയ്പ്പ് ആവശ്യമായിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ ലോകത്തെ ഏറ്റവും ചെലവേറിയ മരുന്ന് വാങ്ങുന്നതിനുള്ള സാമ്പത്തിക ശേഷി ഇല്ലാത്തതിനാല്‍ വേദികയുടെ മാതാപിതാക്കള്‍ സുമനസുകളുടെ കരുണതേടിയാണ് മിലാപിലൂടെ ചികിത്സാ ധനസമാഹരത്തിന് തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചത്. വേദികയുടെ ദുരവസ്ഥയറിഞ്ഞ് നിരവധിപ്പേര്‍ സഹായഹസ്തവുമായി മുന്നോട്ടെത്തിയപ്പോള്‍ വെറും മൂന്നുമാസത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ മിലാപിലൂടെ 14.3 കോടിരൂപ സമാഹരിക്കാനായി. ഏകദേശം 1,34000 പേരില്‍ നിന്നാണ് ഇത്രയും വലിയ തുക ചുരുങ്ങിയ സമയത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ സമാഹരിച്ചത്. തുക ലഭ്യമായമുറയ്ക്ക് തന്നെ അമേരിക്കയിലെ ഫാര്‍മസ്യൂട്ടിക്കല്‍ കമ്പനിയില്‍ നിന്ന് ഡോക്ടര്‍മാര്‍ മരുന്ന് ഓര്‍ഡര്‍ ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്തു. മരുന്നിന്റെ ഇറക്കുമതി തീരുവ,നികുതി മുതലായവയിലുള്ള ഇളവ് വേദികയുടെ മാതാപിതാക്കള്‍ക്ക് സര്‍ക്കാരില്‍ നിന്ന് ലഭിച്ചു. ഓര്‍ഡര്‍ ചെയ്ത മരുന്ന് ജൂലൈ രണ്ടിന് ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ എത്തും. ജൂലൈ പത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ ചികിത്സ ആരംഭിക്കാനാകുമെന്നാണ് ഡോക്ടര്‍മാരുടെ പ്രതീക്ഷ.
