കേരളത്തിലെ കൊവിഡ് പ്രതിരോധത്തിൽ സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാരിന് വലിയ രീതിയിൽ താളം തെറ്റുന്നു. ആരോഗ്യ വിദഗ്ധരിൽ നിന്നുള്ള കൃത്യമായ നിർദ്ദേശങ്ങൾ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നതിനു പകരം കൊവിഡ്യുമായി ബന്ധമില്ലാത്ത ആരുടെയൊക്കെയോ ഉപദേശം കേട്ട് സർക്കാർ കൂടുതൽ അബദ്ധങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ് താളം തെറ്റാനുളള കാരണം.
കൊവിഡ് വ്യാപനം കുറയേണ്ടത് ഏതൊരു സർക്കാരിന്റെയും ആവശ്യമാണ്. ഏത് നാട്ടിലായാലും. ഏത് പാർട്ടി ഭരിച്ചാലും.
കൊവിഡ് നിയന്ത്രണം സർക്കാരിന്റെ ആവശ്യമായതിനാൽ അത് മറ്റാരുടേയും ആവശ്യമല്ല എന്ന ചിന്താഗതിയാണ് സർക്കാരിലെ പലർക്കും ഉള്ളത്. അവിടെയാണ് സർക്കാരിന് തെറ്റുന്നത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ ഒന്നര വർഷമായിട്ടും പഠിക്കാതെ. തിരുത്താതാണ് നിലവിലെ പ്രതിസന്ധിയുടെ കാരണവും.
ശബരിമലയിൽ ആരെങ്കിലും കേറണോ വേണ്ടയോ എന്ന കാര്യത്തിൽ രണ്ടഭിപ്രായം ഉണ്ടാകാം. രണ്ടായാലും ആരും മരിക്കില്ല. സർക്കാരിനും മന്ത്രിമാർക്കും ഓരോ ദിവസവും മലക്കം മറിയാം, തിരുത്താം. പിന്നീട് തിരുത്തിയില്ലെന്ന് പറയാം. ജനങ്ങൾക്ക് പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് അപകടമൊന്നും സംഭവിക്കില്ല. എന്നാൽ കൊവിഡിന്റെ കാര്യത്തിൽ സംഗതി അങ്ങനെയല്ല. ഓരോ തെറ്റായ തീരുമാനവും മനുഷ്യ ജീവനുകൾ അപഹരിക്കും. ജനജീവിതം ദുസ്സഹമാക്കും.
വേണ്ട സമയത്ത് ആവശ്യത്തിന് ടെസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യാതെ വാശി പിടിച്ചത് വലിയ രോഗവ്യാപനത്തിന് കാരണമായി. നിരവധി മരണങ്ങൾക്കും. ആർ.ടി.പി.സി.ആർ പരിശോധനയ്ക്ക് പകരം വിശ്വാസ്യത കുറഞ്ഞ ആന്റിജൻ ടെസ്റ്റ് നടത്തിയത് കൂടുതൽ രോഗവ്യാപനത്തിനും അതുവഴി അധിക മരണങ്ങൾക്കും കാരണമായി. ഐ.എം.എ, കെ.ജി.എം.ഒ.എ തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രസ്ഥാനങ്ങളെ സഹകരിപ്പിക്കാത്തത് സർക്കാരിന്റെ വക അശാസ്ത്രീയ തീരുമാനങ്ങൾക്ക് കാരണമായി.
പ്രവാസികളെ കുറ്റവാളികളാക്കാനും മത്സ്യത്തൊഴിലാളി ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിൽ പൊലീസിന്റെ റൂട്ട് മാർച്ച് നടത്താനും സർക്കാരിനെ ഉപദേശിച്ചത് പൊതുജനാരോഗ്യം പഠിച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്ത ആരോ ആയിരുന്നു. കൊവിഡ് രോഗികൾക്ക് പ്രത്യേക വിമാനമെന്ന മണ്ടൻ ആശയം സർക്കാരിനെക്കൊണ്ട് പറയിച്ചത് ഇതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് അറിവില്ലാത്തവരാണ്. ഒടുവിൽ മരണത്തിന്റെ കണക്കുകൾ മറച്ചു പിടിച്ചതും വെളിച്ചത്തായി. മരണക്കണക്ക് മുക്കൽ വഴി ദരിദ്രരായ കുടുംബങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള ധനസഹായം അട്ടിമറിച്ചത് മറ്റൊരു മണ്ടത്തരം.
ഓരോ തെറ്റും ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ സർക്കാരിനെ തിരുത്താൻ ശ്രമിച്ചവർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവരെയെല്ലാം സർക്കാർ ആക്ഷേപിച്ചും വിരട്ടിയും വായടപ്പിച്ചു. ജനവിരുദ്ധരാണെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു. പാർട്ടി ഭക്തന്മാർ സർക്കാരിനെ കൈയടിച്ച് പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിച്ചു. ചെയ്തത് തെറ്റാണെണ് പിന്നീട് മനസിലായപ്പോൾ പറ്റിയ തെറ്റുകൾക്ക് സർക്കാർ പുതിയ ന്യായീകരണങ്ങൾ കണ്ടെത്തി. കാര്യമായി ആരും വിശ്വസിച്ചില്ലെങ്കിലും.
ഇപ്പോൾ കടകൾ തുറക്കുന്ന കാര്യത്തിലും സർക്കാരിനെ ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നത് ഏതോ മണ്ടന്മാരാണ്. സമ്പൂർണ്ണ ലോക്ഡൗൺ ഒക്കെ ആവശ്യമുള്ള സമയമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അന്ന് അതിനെ ആരും എതിർത്തില്ല. എന്നാൽ എല്ലായിടവും എല്ലാക്കാലവും പൂട്ടിയാടാൻ കഴിയില്ല. മനുഷ്യർ അവശ്യ സാധനങ്ങൾക്കായി പോകുന്ന സ്ഥലങ്ങൾ എല്ലാ ദിവസവും തുറക്കണം. ദിവസവും കൂടുതൽ സമയം തുറന്നിരിക്കണം. വൃദ്ധർക്ക് പ്രത്യക സമയം അനുവദിക്കണം. ശാസ്ത്രീയമായി കാര്യങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്ന മിക്ക നാടുകളിലും അതാണ് ചെയ്യുന്നത്. കൂടുതൽ സമയം തുറന്നിരിക്കുമ്പോഴാണ് തിരക്ക് കുറയുന്നത്.
ഓൺലൈൻ പഠനം നടത്തുന്ന കുട്ടികൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെ സകലരും മൊബൈൽ ഫോൺ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ഈ ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ ഫോൺ വിൽക്കുന്ന കടകളും നന്നാക്കുന്ന കടകളും തുറക്കുന്നത് പ്രത്യേക ദിവസങ്ങളിലും കുറവ് സമയത്തേയ്ക്കും മാത്രമായി. എന്തൊരു വിഡ്ഢിത്തമാണിത്. അത്തരം കടകളിൽ ഇപ്പോൾ വലിയ തിരക്കാണ്. കൂടുതൽ കൊവിഡ് വ്യാപനത്തിന് അതും കാരണമാകും. ഇത് തെറ്റാണെന്ന് മനസിലാക്കാൻ സാമാന്യ ബുദ്ധിയിലും കുറവുമതി.
മനുഷ്യർ മുഴുവൻ വീട്ടിലിരിക്കുന്നതല്ല കൊവിഡ് നിയന്ത്രണം. ആൾക്കൂട്ടമാണ് ഒഴിവാക്കേണ്ടത്. അതിനുള്ള നടപടികളാണ് വേണ്ടത്. ഇതിനായി ടോക്കൺ സംവിധാനം പോലെയുളള മാർഗങ്ങൾ കൂടുതൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കണം.
ദിവസക്കൂലിക്കാർക്കും അസംഘടിത തൊഴിലാളികൾക്കും ഇനിയും വീട്ടിലിരിക്കാൻ കഴിയില്ല. അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ദരിദ്രരുടെ ബാങ്ക് അക്കൗണ്ടിൽ സർക്കാർ പണം നിക്ഷേപിക്കണം. പല നാടുകളിലും അത് സംഭവിക്കുന്നണ്ട്. കിറ്റിനും ഭക്ഷണത്തിനും പുറത്ത് മനുഷ്യർക്ക് ഒരുപാട് ആവശ്യങ്ങളുണ്ട്. മന്ത്രിമാർക്കുള്ള ആവശ്യങ്ങൾ സാധാരണ മനുഷ്യർക്കുമുണ്ട്. അവസാനത്തെ ആടിനെ വിൽക്കാനും കുടുക്ക പൊട്ടിക്കാനും പാവങ്ങളെ ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്യുകയല്ല, മറിച്ച് അവരുടെ ഒഴിഞ്ഞ കീശയിൽ പണമിടുകയാണ് സർക്കാർ ചെയ്യേണ്ടത്.
ജനങ്ങളുടെ കൈയിൽ ധനം വന്നാൽ കമ്പോളം ഉത്തേജിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടും. അത് കച്ചവടക്കാരുടെ മാത്രം ആവശ്യമല്ല. നാടിന്റെ തന്നെ കൂടുതൽ സാമ്പത്തിക തകർച്ച ഒഴിവാക്കാൻ ആവശ്യമാണ്. വ്യാപാരികൾ ശത്രുക്കളല്ല. നമ്മുടെ തന്നെ ബന്ധുക്കളും പരിചയക്കാരുമാണ് അവർ. നമ്മൾ തന്നെയാണ് അവർ. അവർക്കു നേരേ വാളെടുക്കുന്നത് അടുത്ത മണ്ടത്തരം. കൊവിഡ് പൊതുജനാരോഗ്യ പ്രശ്നമാണ്. ക്രമസമാധാന പ്രശ്നമല്ല.
എല്ലാ വിഭാഗങ്ങളിലുമുള്ള മനുഷ്യരുടെ പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ സർക്കാർ അന്വേഷിച്ചറിയണം. അവരുടെയൊക്കെ പ്രതിനിധികളെ ചർച്ചയ്ക്ക് വിളിക്കണം. ഡോക്ടർമാരുടെ സംഘടനകളെപ്പോലും വേലിക്ക് പുറത്തു നിർത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത് ശരിയല്ല. സെക്രട്ടേറിയറ്റിന്റെ മൂക്കിന് താഴെയുള്ള ഈ സംഘടനകൾക്ക് സർക്കാരിനോട് സംവദിക്കാൻ പത്രക്കുറിപ്പുകളെ ആശ്രയിക്കേണ്ടി വരുന്നത് എന്തൊരു ഗതികേടാണ്.
സർക്കാരുകൾക്കും തെറ്റ് പറ്റും. കൊവിഡിന്റെ കാര്യത്തിൽ തെറ്റുപറ്റാത്ത ഒരു സർക്കാരും ലോകത്തില്ല. നമുക്ക് മാത്രം ഇതുവരെ ഒരു തെറ്റും പറ്റിയിട്ടില്ലെന്ന് പറയുന്നതാണ് ഏറ്റവും വലിയ തെറ്റ്. തെറ്റുകൾ ഏറ്റുപറഞ്ഞ് തിരുത്തുന്നതാണ് ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ശരി
