പക്ഷേ, 2016ൽ സിപിഎം ജയിച്ച കൽപറ്റയിൽ ഘടകകക്ഷി നേതാവിനുണ്ടായ തോൽവി അന്വേഷിക്കാൻ സിപിഎം സംസ്ഥാനകമ്മിറ്റി അവരുടെ ജില്ലാ നേതൃത്വത്തോടു നിർദേശിച്ചു. സിപിഎമ്മിന് ആധിപത്യമുള്ള ചില പഞ്ചായത്തുകളിൽ എൽഡിഎഫിന്റെ ലീഡ് കുറഞ്ഞതു പാ‍ർട്ടി കണക്കിലെടുത്തു. എന്നാൽ, അന്വേഷണത്തിന്റെ ആവശ്യമില്ലെന്നാണു വയനാട് ജില്ലാ സെക്രട്ടറി സംസ്ഥാന കമ്മിറ്റിയിൽ അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടത്. എൽജെഡി സ്ഥാനാർഥി തോറ്റതു സിപിഎമ്മിന്റെ വീഴ്ചകൊണ്ടല്ലെന്ന വയനാട്ടിലെ സംസ്ഥാന കമ്മിറ്റി അംഗങ്ങളുടെ വാദം നേതൃത്വം തള്ളി.
കേരള കോൺഗ്രസ് (എം) ചെയർമാൻ ജോസ് കെ.മാണി പാലായിൽ തോറ്റതു സിപിഎം അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ട ആവശ്യമുണ്ടോയെന്ന കോട്ടയം ജില്ലാ നേതൃത്വത്തിന്റെ സന്ദേഹവും സംസ്ഥാന നേതൃത്വം കണക്കിലെടുത്തില്ല. എൽഡിഎഫിന്റെ സംഘടനാസംവിധാനം അടിമുടി സിപിഎമ്മിന്റേതു തന്നെ. അപ്പോൾ സിറ്റിങ് സീറ്റുകളിൽ തോറ്റെങ്കിൽ പങ്കു പാർട്ടിക്കും ഉണ്ടാകും; അത് അന്വേഷിച്ചു തിരുത്തും എന്ന നില സിപിഎം നേതൃത്വം എടുത്തു.
ഘടകകക്ഷികളോടുള്ള സിപിഎമ്മിന്റെ മാറിയ ഈ സമീപനം കോൺഗ്രസ് കണ്ടുപഠിക്കേണ്ടതാണ്. ജയിച്ച 99ൽ 79 സീറ്റും ലഭിച്ച സിപിഎമ്മിനും സിപിഐക്കും മാത്രമായി വകുപ്പുകൾ പങ്കിട്ടു കേരളം ഭരിക്കാമായിരുന്നു. പക്ഷേ, ചെറിയകക്ഷികളെ പരിഗണിക്കാനായി സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ ചരിത്രത്തിലാദ്യമായി മുന്നണിതന്നെ മന്ത്രിമാർക്കു ടേം നിശ്ചയിച്ചു. തദ്ദേശസ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിൽ ഈ വീതംവയ്പിന്റെ ആശാന്മാരായ യുഡിഎഫ്, മന്ത്രിസഭയുടെ കാര്യത്തിൽ ഇതുവരെ ചെയ്യാത്ത കാര്യം. മന്ത്രിസഭാ പ്രവേശനം പകൽക്കിനാവ് മാത്രമാകും എന്നു കരുതിയ ഏകാംഗകക്ഷികളായ ഐഎൻഎല്ലും ജനാധിപത്യ കേരള കോൺഗ്രസും അതോടെ രണ്ടരവർഷത്തേക്കെങ്കിലും അധികാരത്തിന്റെ, കേരള ഭരണചരിത്രത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി.

തിരുവനന്തപുരവും  നെന്മാറയും

2014ൽ കൊല്ലം ലോക്സഭാ സീറ്റ് നിരാകരിച്ച് ആർഎസ്പിയെ ഇടതുമുന്നണിയുടെ പുറത്തുചാടിച്ച സിപിഎം ഇന്ന് ആർഎസ്പി(ലെനിനിസ്റ്റ്) എന്ന തല്ലിപ്പിരിഞ്ഞു നിൽക്കുന്ന പാർട്ടിയുടെ പ്രതിനിധി കോവൂർ കു‍ഞ്ഞുമോനെയും തഴയുന്നില്ല. മറുവശത്ത്, ഘടകകക്ഷികളായ ഫോർവേ‍‍‍‍ഡ് ബ്ലോക്കിനും ഭാരതീയ ജനതാദളിനും ഒരു സീറ്റ് നൽകാൻ പോലും യുഡിഎഫ് കൂട്ടാക്കിയില്ല. 93 സീറ്റും ഏറ്റെടുത്ത കോൺഗ്രസ് എന്നിട്ടു മന്ത്രിസഭാ രൂപീകരണത്തിനു വേണ്ട 71 സീറ്റിലും തോറ്റമ്പി.
ജനാധിപത്യ കേരള കോൺഗ്രസിലെ ആന്റണി രാജു മത്സരിച്ച തിരുവനന്തപുരം സീറ്റിലെ പ്രവർത്തനം പൊളിറ്റ്ബ്യൂറോ അംഗമായ കോടിയേരി ബാലകൃഷ്ണൻ ഓരോ ആഴ്ചയും നേരിട്ട് അവലോകനം ചെയ്തു. മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പിണറായി വിജയൻ ജില്ലയിൽ വോട്ടുതേടിയ നാലു മണ്ഡലങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്ന്  തിരുവനന്തപുരമായിരുന്നു. പ്രചാരണത്തിന്റെ വലിയവിഹിതം സിപിഎം മുടക്കി. യുഡിഎഫിലോ? നെന്മാറ സീറ്റ് നോട്ടമിട്ട സിഎംപി സ്ഥാനാർഥിക്കു പഞ്ചായത്തു തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പുമുതൽ തമ്പടിച്ചു കോൺഗ്രസുകാരെ സാമ്പത്തികമായി സഹായിക്കേണ്ടി വന്നു. നിയമസഭാ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പായപ്പോൾ അതിന്റെ പേരിൽ ‘പേയ്മെന്റ് സീറ്റ്’ എന്നു കോൺഗ്രസുകാർതന്നെ മുറവിളി ഉയർത്തി. അന്തരീക്ഷം അലമ്പായെന്നു പറഞ്ഞു കയ്യൊഴിഞ്ഞ യുഡിഎഫ് നേതൃത്വം സിഎംപി ജനറൽ സെക്രട്ടറി സി.പി.ജോണിനോടു പാലക്കാട്ടുപോയി നേതാക്കളുടെ കയ്യും കാലും പിടിക്കാൻ പറഞ്ഞു. പ്രചാരണം തുടങ്ങും മുൻപേ നെന്മാറ പോലെ എത്രയോ സീറ്റുകൾ  മുഖ്യകക്ഷി തന്നെ ഇങ്ങനെ കൈമോശം വരുത്തി!

ബംഗാൾ നൽകുന്ന ഓർമ

സിപിഎം നേതൃത്വം മനസ്സിലാക്കിയതും കോൺഗ്രസ് ഇതുവരെ ഒരുപക്ഷേ മനസ്സിലാക്കാത്തതുമായ വസ്തുതയാണ് ഈ രണ്ടു മനോഭാവങ്ങളെ നയിക്കുന്നത്.
തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പുഫലം വന്നപ്പോൾ കോൺഗ്രസിനും സിപിഎമ്മിനും 25% വോട്ടുവീതമാണു ലഭിച്ചത്. സിപിഎമ്മും കോൺഗ്രസും ഒറ്റമുന്നണി ആയാൽ 50% വോട്ടേ അവർക്കുള്ളൂ. ബാക്കി എല്ലാവരും കൂടി നിന്നാൽ വോട്ട് ത്രാസ് തുല്യസൂചിയിൽ‍ നിൽക്കും. ബംഗാളിലേക്കു നോക്കൂ. അവിടെ ടിഎംസിക്കു മാത്രം 47.9% ബിജെപിക്ക് 38.1%. തമിഴ്നാട്ടിലോ? ഡിഎംകെ– 37.77%, എഐഎഡിഎംകെ–33.29%. ഇവിടെയെല്ലാം മറ്റു കക്ഷികൾ പൊട്ടും പൊടിയും മാത്രമാണ്. മുന്നണിരാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിന്റെ കളിത്തൊട്ടിലായ കേരളത്തിൽ ഓരോ അരശതമാനം വോട്ടുപോലും നിർണായകവും.
ശക്തമായ മുന്നണിയും തൃപ്തരായ കക്ഷികളും എന്നതിലെ തൃപ്തിക്കു കോട്ടം തട്ടിയാൽ ശക്തി ചോരും. ബംഗാളിൽ സഖ്യകക്ഷികളെ ചവിട്ടിമെതിച്ചതിന്റെ വലിയപാഠം സിപിഎം കേരളനേതൃത്വം ഇന്ന് ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ടു പാലായും കൽപറ്റയും അന്വേഷിക്കാനുള്ള അവരുടെ തീരുമാനം ആ കക്ഷികളോടു കാട്ടിയ ദയയല്ല; ആവശ്യകതയാണ്. ഒരുമിച്ചു നിന്നാലേ നിലനിൽപ്പുള്ളൂ എന്ന ഈ തിരിച്ചറിവ് കോൺഗ്രസ്  ഉൾക്കൊള്ളേണ്ടത് യുഡിഎഫിന് ഇനി ഒഴിച്ചുകൂടാനാകാത്ത കാര്യവുമാണ്.
