കാലടി മുഖ്യ കേന്ദ്രത്തിലെ യൂട്ടിലിറ്റി സെന്ററിൽ നടന്ന ചടങ്ങിൽ വൈസ് ചാൻസലർ പ്രൊഫ. എം. വി. നാരായണൻ അധ്യക്ഷനായിരുന്നു. ന്യൂഡൽഹിലെ സെൻട്രൽ സംസ്കൃത സർവ്വകലാശാലയുടെ മുൻ വൈസ് ചാൻസലർ പ്രൊഫ. രാധാവല്ലഭ് ത്രിപാഠി മുഖ്യപ്രഭാഷണം നിർവ്വഹിച്ചു. പ്രോ വൈസ് ചാൻസലർ പ്രൊഫ. കെ. മുത്തുലക്ഷ്മി സംസ്കൃത പണ്ഡിതരെ ആദരിച്ചു. ഡോ. കെ. എൻ. എൻ. ഇളയത് (സംസ്കൃതം), ഡോ. ഇന്ദിര ബാലചന്ദ്രൻ (ആയുർവേദം), കലാമണ്ഡലം ഗിരിജ (കൂടിയാട്ടം, നങ്ങ്യാർകൂത്ത്) എന്നിവരെയാണ് ആദരിച്ചത്. ശാസ്ത്രസംവർദ്ധിനി കേന്ദ്രം നടത്തിയ ശാസ്ത്രബോധിനി പരീക്ഷയിൽ വിജയിച്ചവർക്കും സംസ്കൃത ദിനത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് നടത്തിയ വിവിധ മത്സരയിനങ്ങളിലെ ജേതാക്കൾക്കുമുളള സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റുകൾ രജിസ്ട്രാർ പ്രൊഫ. എം. ബി. ഗോപാലകൃഷ്ണൻ വിതരണം ചെയ്തു. സംഗീത വിഭാഗം മുൻ മേധാവി ഡോ. മാലിനി ഹരിഹരൻ രചിച്ച “ആൻ ആന്തോളജി ഓഫ് പോസ്റ്റ് ത്യാഗരാജ കോമ്പോസിഷൻസ്” എന്ന ഗ്രന്ഥത്തിന്റെ കയ്യെഴുത്തു പ്രതി വൈസ് ചാൻസലർ പ്രൊഫ. എം. വി. നാരായണൻ സ്വീകരിച്ചു. പ്രൊഫ. കെ. യമുന, ഡോ. കെ. ഇ. ഗോപാലദേശികൻ എന്നിവർ പ്രസംഗിച്ചു. ഉച്ചകഴിഞ്ഞ് നടന്ന വാക്യാർത്ഥസദസ്സിൽ ഡോ. വി. രാമകൃഷ്ണഭട്ട് അധ്യക്ഷനായിരുന്നു. 20ന് രാവിലെ കവി സമ്മേളനം, ഉച്ചകഴിഞ്ഞ് അക്ഷരശ്ലോക സദസ് എന്നിവ നടക്കും. ഉച്ചകഴിഞ്ഞ് മൂന്നിന് നടക്കുന്ന സമാപന സമ്മേളനത്തിൽ ഡോ. കെ. മുത്തുലക്ഷ്മി മുഖ്യാതിഥിയായിരിക്കും.
