അഫ്ഗാനിസ്ഥാനില് ‘മുഹമ്മദ് ഗോറി’ എന്ന സുല്ത്താന്റെ ശവ കുടീരമുണ്ട്. അത് സന്ദര്ശിക്കാന് വരുന്ന അഫ്ഗാന്കാര് സന്ദര്ശനത്തിന് മുന്പായി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു കാര്യമുണ്ട്. ഗോറിയുടെ ശവ കുടീരത്തിന് താഴെയായുള്ള മറ്റൊരു വ്യക്തിയുടെ മൃതി കുടീരത്തില് ദേഷ്യത്തോടെ കാലുകള് കൊണ്ട് അമര്ത്തി ചവിട്ടുക, ചെരുപ്പ് കൊണ്ടടിക്കുക എന്ന കാര്യം. ആ മൃതി മണ്ഡപത്തെ എങ്ങനെയെല്ലാം അവഹേളിക്കാമോ അതിനാവുന്നതെല്ലാം അവര് ചെയ്യുന്നു……..ഓരോ ഭാരത പുത്രനും അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കേണ്ട ഈ ചരിത്രം പക്ഷെ നമ്മളെ പഠിപ്പിക്കാറില്ല. ഭാരതത്തിലെ വീരശൂര പരാക്രമികളെ കുറിച്ചു നമ്മൾ പഠിക്കരുത് എന്ന് ആർക്കോ നിർബന്ധം ഉള്ള പോലെ? അതിലും വലിയ ഒരു കാര്യം Sher sing Rana യെ കുറിച്ച് കൂടുതൽ പേർക്ക് അറിയില്ല. അദ്ദേഹം ഭൂലൻദേവിയുടെ കൊലപാതകത്തിൽ തീഹാർ ജയിലിലായിരുന്നു. പ്രിത്വിരാജിന്റെ ശവകുടീരത്തിന്റെ അപമാനത്തെ കുറിച്ച് അറിഞ്ഞു ജയിൽ ചാടി അഫ്ഗാനിസ്ഥാനിൽ പോയി പ്രിത്വിരാജിന്റെ ശവകുടീരം പൊട്ടിച്ചു അസ്ഥികൾ ഭാരതത്തിൽ കൊണ്ടു വന്ന് അമ്പലം ഉണ്ടാക്കി അതിൽ വെച്ചു.
തന്റെ മരണം വരെ, ഡല്ഹിയുടെ സിംഹാസനത്തെ അഫ്ഗാനിസ്ഥാനില് നിന്നും തുര്ക്കിയില് നിന്നും നിരന്തരമുണ്ടായ വൈദേശിക ആക്രമണങ്ങളില് നിന്ന് കാത്തു സൂക്ഷിച്ച പ്രിഥ്വിരാജ് ചൗഹാന്റെ ഭൌതികാവഷിഷ്ടങ്ങളുടെ നേര്ക്കാണ് അഫ്ഗാന്കാര് തങ്ങളുടെ അവജ്ഞതയുടെ വിഷം തുപ്പുന്നത്.
ഞാന് പഠിച്ച ചരിത്രം എന്നോട് പറഞ്ഞത് പ്രിഥ്വിരാജ് ചൗഹാന് സ്വന്തം കൈ രേഖ പോലെ കാത്തു സൂക്ഷിച്ച ഹിന്ദുസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ സാമ്രാജ്യത്തിലേക്ക് അഫ്ഗാനിസ്ഥാനില് നിന്ന് മുഹമ്മദ് ഗോറി രണ്ടു വട്ടം പട നയിച്ചെത്തി എന്നാണ്.
എ.ഡി. 1191 -ല് നടന്ന ആദ്യത്തെ യുദ്ധത്തില് ഗോറിയുടെ സൈന്ന്യം ഭാരതത്തിന്റെ രജപുത്രന്മാരോട് ദയനീയമായി പരാജയപ്പെട്ടു. അമ്പേ പരാജയപ്പെട്ട മുഹമ്മദ് ഗോറിയെ അഫ്ഗാനിസ്ഥാനിലെ മലനിരകളില് എവിടെയെങ്കിലും പോയി അഭയം പ്രാപിച്ചു കൊള്ളുവാന് പറഞ്ഞ് പ്രിഥ്വിരാജ് ചൗഹാന് വെറുതെ വിട്ടു. ഭിക്ഷയായി ലഭിച്ച ജീവും കൊണ്ട് ഗോറി മരുഭൂമികളിലെക്കു പലായനം ചെയ്തു…..
ഇനി, ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ചരിത്രം എഴുതിയ ബ്രിടീഷുകാരും, മിഷനറിമാരും, മതേതരക്കാരും, മാര്ക്സിസ്റ്റ്കാരും പറയാതെ വച്ച കഥ…
അതിനു ശേഷം 15 വട്ടം കൂടി ഗോറി ഭാരതത്തെ ആക്രമിച്ചു. എല്ലാറ്റിലും രജപുത്ര സൈന്ന്യം ഗോറിയെ പരാജയപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു. 17-ആം വട്ടം ഗോറി വിജയം കണ്ടു. അതും ചതിവിലൂടെ. സൂര്യോദയം മുതല് സൂര്യാസ്തമയം വരെ മാത്രം യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുന്ന ഹിന്ദു സംസ്ക്കാരം അറിവുണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഗോറി ഉദയത്തിനു മുന്പേ പ്രിഥ്വിരാജിന്റെ സൈന്യത്തെ കടന്നാക്രമിച്ചു. സുശക്തമായിരുന്ന ഹിന്ദുസ്താനതിന്ടെ സാമ്രാജ്യത്തിലേക്ക് അങ്ങനെ ആദ്യമായി, ചതിവിലൂടെ ഇസ്ലാമിക അധിനിവേശത്തിന്റെ വാതില് തുറക്കപ്പെട്ടു…..
ദേഹമാസകലം ചങ്ങലകള് കൊണ്ട് വരിഞ്ഞു മുറുക്കി തന്റെ മുന്നില് യുദ്ധ തടവുകാരനായി നിര്ത്തപ്പെട്ട പ്രിഥ്വിരാജ് ചൗഹാന്റെ മുമ്പില് മുഹമ്മദ് ഗോറി വിജയിയുടെ ചിരിയോടെ നിന്നു.
16 വട്ടം തന്റെ വാളിന്തുമ്പത്ത് നിന്നു കനിവിന്റെ ഭിക്ഷ നല്കി വിട്ടയച്ച ഗോറിയുടെ മുന്പില് ഉയര്ത്തിപ്പിടിച്ച ശിരസോടെ, രജപുത്രന്റെ രക്തം ഞരമ്പിലോടുന്ന ധീരനായ പ്രിഥ്വിരാജ് ചൌഹാനും നിന്നു. തടവുകാരനോട് ശിരസ്സ് താഴ്ത്തി പിടിക്കാന് ഗോറി ആക്രോശിച്ചു. ആത്മാഭിമാനത്തിന്റെ ആള്രൂപമായ പ്രിഥ്വിരാജ് ചൗഹാന് തന്റെ തീഷ്ണമായ ദൃഷ്ടി ഗോരിയില് നിന്നു പിന്വലിച്ചതെയില്ല….
അഗ്നി കൊണ്ട് ചുട്ടു പഴുപ്പിച്ച ഒരു ഇരുമ്പ് ദണ്ട് കുത്തിയിറക്കി പ്രിഥ്വിരാജിന്റെ കാഴ്ച കവര്ന്നെടുത്തു കൊണ്ടാണ് 16 വട്ടം തന്നെ കൊല്ലാതെ വിട്ടയച്ച ധീരനായ ശത്രുവിനോട് ഗോറി പകവീട്ടിയത്.
അതിനു ശേഷമുള്ള കഥ ഒരുപാടു വട്ടം നമ്മള് കേട്ട് പരിച്ചയിച്ചതാണ്…
ചന്ദ് ബര്ദായ് എന്ന പ്രിഥ്വിരാജിന്റെ സുഹൃത്ത് അദേഹത്തെ കാണാന് എത്തിയപ്പോള്, കണ്ണ് കാണാതെ ശബ്ദം കൊണ്ട് മാത്രം ലക്ഷ്യം ഭേദിക്കുന്ന ആയോധന വിദ്യ പ്രിത്വിരാജിനു അറിയാമെന്ന് ചന്ദ് ബര്ദായ് ഗോറിയോട് പറഞ്ഞു. അത് പരീക്ഷിക്കാന് തന്നെ തീരുമാനിച്ച ഗോറി സന്നാഹങ്ങള് എല്ലാം ഒരുക്കി അന്ധനായ പ്രിഥ്വിരാജ് ചൌഹാനെ അവിടേക്ക് കൊണ്ട് വന്നു. ഒരു മണി മുഴങ്ങുന്ന ശബ്ദം കേള്ക്കുമ്പോള് അവിടേക്ക് ലക്ഷ്യം വയ്ക്കണമെന്നാണ് പ്രിഥ്വിരാജ് ചൌഹാനെ അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നത്. അത് പ്രകാരം “മണി മുഴക്കുക!!!” എന്ന് മുഹമ്മദ് ഗോറി ഉത്തരവിട്ടപ്പോള് അയാളുടെ ശബ്ദം കേട്ട ദിശയിലേക്ക് തന്നെ പ്രിഥ്വിരാജ് ചൗഹാന് അസ്ത്രമെയ്തു ഗോറിയുടെ ശിരസ്സ് പിളര്ന്നു അയാളെ വധിച്ചു. അഫ്ഗാന്സൈന്ന്യതാല് തേജോവധം ചെയ്യപ്പെടുന്നതിന് മുന്പായി ബര്ദായ് യും പ്രിഥ്വിരാജ് ചൌഹാനും പരസ്പരം ഇരുവരുടെയും ജീവനെടുത്തു….
