ശ്രേയസ് കുമാറിനെ സംസ്ഥാന അദ്ധ്യക്ഷനാക്കണമെന്ന കൃഷ്ണൻകുട്ടിയുടെ നിർദ്ദേശം സി കെ നാണു വിഭാഗം തള്ളിക്കളയുകയും യു ഡി എഫ് നേതൃത്വവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് പ്രർത്തിക്കാനുള്ള ഏകദേശ ധാരണ രൂപപ്പെടുത്തുകയുമുണ്ടായി.

ഏറെ കാലമായി ജനതാദളിനകത്ത് ആഭ്യന്തര പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ നിലനിൽക്കുന്നുണ്ട് സി കെ നാണു പ്രസിഡണ്ടായതിന് ശേഷം ഏകപക്ഷീയ പ്രവർത്തനമാണ് നടക്കുന്നത് കൃഷ്ണൻകുട്ടി – നീലൻ വിഭാഗത്തിൻ്റെ നിർദ്ദേശം മറികടന്ന് കോട്ടയം ജില്ലാ പ്രസിഡണ്ടിനെ സംസ്ഥാന വൈസ് പ്രസിഡണ്ട് ആക്കിയത് ദേശീയ പ്രസിഡണ്ട് ദേവഗൗഡ ആ വിശ്യപ്പെട്ടിട്ട് പോലും പിൻവലിക്കാൻ സി കെ നാണു തയ്യാറായില്ല.
