പലപ്പോഴും പലരും അണ്ടർ എസ്റ്റിമേറ്റ് ചെയ്യപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു വ്യക്തിയാണ് ആൻറണി പെരുമ്പാവൂർ എന്ന് തോന്നിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

മോഹൻലാൽ എന്ന നടൻ 2010 നു ശേഷം ഇത്രയും വലിയ ഒരു ബ്രാൻഡ് ആവുന്നതിൽ ആൻറണി പെരുമ്പാവൂർ എന്ന പ്രൊഡ്യൂസർ വഹിച്ച പങ്ക് ചെറുതല്ല. വെറുമൊരു സാധാരണ പ്രൊഡ്യൂസർ എന്നതിനേക്കാൾ എത്രയോ മുകളിലാണ് ആൻറണി പെരുമ്പാവൂർ എന്ന് എനിക്ക് തോന്നാൻ കാരണമായിട്ടുള്ള ചില കാരണങ്ങൾ താഴെ പറയാം

1)ദൃശ്യം എന്ന സിനിമ മമ്മൂട്ടിയെ വെച്ച് ചെയ്യാനാണ് ജിത്തുജോസഫ് പ്ലാൻ ചെയ്തിരുന്നത് എന്ന് എല്ലാവർക്കും അറിയാം, മമ്മൂട്ടി ആ സിനിമചെയ്യാതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. പിന്നീട് ദൃശ്യത്തിന് കഥപറയുന്നതിനുവേണ്ടി ജിത്തു ആൻറണീസ് സമീപിച്ചപ്പോൾ പോൾ ആൻറണിക്ക് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുകയും, ജിത്തുവിനോട് “അണ്ണൻ ഇനി ഒന്നും നോക്കണ്ട ഇത് ലാൽസാറിന് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടും, ഈ സിനിമ നമ്മൾ എന്തായാലും ചെയ്യും, ഞാൻ സാറിനോട് ഈ കഥ പറഞ്ഞുകൊള്ളാം” എന്ന് ആൻറണി ജിത്തുവിനോട് പറഞ്ഞു. അവസാനം ആൻറണി തന്നെ സിനിമ പ്രൊഡ്യൂസ് ചെയ്കയും, മോഹൻലാൽ സിനിമ ചെയ്യുകയുമാണുണ്ടായത്. മോഹൻലാൽ എന്ന ബ്രാൻഡ് 2010 നു ശേഷം ഇത്ര വലുത് ആകുന്നതിനു ഇന്ന് ദൃശ്യം എന്ന സിനിമ വഹിച്ച പങ്ക് ചെറുതല്ല. ദൃശ്യം എന്ന സിനിമ മോഹൻലാലിൻറെ കരിയറിനെയും മലയാള സിനിമയുടെയും ഒരു മൈൽസ്റ്റോൺ ആയി മാറുകയുണ്ടായി.

2) അതുപോലെതന്നെ ശ്രദ്ധേയമായ മറ്റൊരു കാര്യം, ദൃശ്യം എന്ന സിനിമയിൽ നായികയായി കാസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തിരുന്നത് മിനിയെയാണ്. പക്ഷേ മൂന്നു വയസ്സുള്ള മകൾ ഉള്ളതുകൊണ്ട് തനിക്ക് സിനിമയിൽ അഭിനയിക്കാൻ പറ്റില്ലെന്ന് ആദ്യം പറഞ്ഞു. പിന്നീട് മിനയെ കൺവിൻസ് ചെയ്തു മകൾക്ക് ഒരു ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടും ഇല്ലാത്ത രീതിയിൽ നമുക്ക് ചെയ്യാം എന്ന് ഉറപ്പുനൽകി മീനയെ ദൃശ്യത്തിലേക്ക് എത്തിച്ചത് ആൻറണി ആണ്. ഇപ്പോൾ ആലോചിക്കുമ്പോൾ മീന അല്ലാതെ റാണിയുടെ റോൾ വേറൊരാൾ ആ റോൾ ചെയ്യുന്നത് ആലോചിക്കാൻ പോലും പറ്റില്ല. തൻറെ സിനിമയ്ക്കുവേണ്ടി നല്ലൊരു ടീമിനെ അസംബിൾ ചെയ്യുന്നതും, അവരെ കംഫർട്ടബിൾ ആക്കുന്നതും എല്ലാം ഒരു പ്രൊഡ്യൂസർ എന്ന രീതിയിൽ ആന്റണിയുടെ എടുത്തുപറയേണ്ട ഗുണങ്ങൾ തന്നെയാണ്.

3) ദൃശ്യത്തിന്റെ രണ്ടാംഭാഗത്തിനെ പറ്റി ജിത്തുവിനോട് പറയുന്നതും ആൻറണി തന്നെയാണ്. ഒരുപക്ഷേ ആൻറണി അന്ന് പറഞ്ഞില്ലായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ഒരുപക്ഷെ ജിത്തു രണ്ടാംഭാഗത്തിന് പറ്റി ആലോചിക്കുക പോലും ഉണ്ടാകില്ല. നല്ല ഒരു രണ്ടാംഭാഗത്തിന് സാധ്യത ഉണ്ട് എന്ന് തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞതു ആൻറണിയാണ്. സിനിമയുടെ ബിസിനസ് മാത്രം ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കി ആയിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ഒരു പക്ഷേ പണ്ടുതന്നെ നരസിംഹത്തിന്റെയും രാവണപ്രഭവിന്റെറെയും രണ്ടാം ഭാഗങ്ങൾ പണ്ട് തന്നെ ചെയ്യാൻ പറയായിരുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട് ദൃശ്യം ടൂ വിൻറെ സക്സസ് ആന്റണി പെരുമ്പാവൂർ എന്ന പ്രോഡ്യൂസർക്കു കൂടി അവകാശപ്പെട്ടതാണ്. 5) ദൃശ്യത്തിലെ രണ്ടാംഭാഗം OTT റിലീസ് ആകും എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ പലരും ആൻറണിയെ വിമർശിച്ചിരുന്നു. ആമസോണിന് 40 കോടിക്കാണ് ദൃശ്യം 2 വിറ്റതെന്ന് അറിയാൻ സാധിച്ചത്. ഒരുപക്ഷേ സിനിമ 100 കോടി ഗ്രോസ് കളക്ഷൻ നേടിയാലും 30 കോടിയോളം രൂപയുടെ മാത്രം ഷെയർ ആണ് പ്രൊഡ്യൂസർക്കു ലഭിക്കുക. അതുകൊണ്ട് ഈ കോവിഡ് സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ OTT റിലീസ് എന്തുകൊണ്ടും ഒരു മികച്ച തീരുമാനം തന്നെയാണ്. ആണ് അതിനേക്കാളുപരി OTT റിലീസ് ആയതുകൊണ്ട് ദൃശ്യം എന്ന സിനിമയ്ക്ക് ഇന്ത്യയികകത്തും ഇന്ത്യയ്ക്ക് പുറത്തും ലഭിച്ച സ്വീകാര്യത നമ്മൾ കണ്ടതാണ്. ഇതിനു മുൻപ് ഒരു മലയാള സിനിമയ്ക്ക് ഇത്തരം രീതിയിൽ സ്വീകാര്യത ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ എന്ന് എന്ന് സംശയമാണ്.
അതുപോലെതന്നെ എന്നെ OTT റിലീസ് ആയതുകൊണ്ട് സിനിമയിൽ അഭിനയിച്ച പല നടന്മാർക്കും നല്ല രീതിയിൽ പ്രശംസകളും ലഭിച്ചു. സിനിമയിൽ അഭിനയിച്ച ഒരു ഒരു നടൻ പറഞ്ഞത് ഇത് OTT റിലീസ് അല്ലായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ഇത്രയേറെ പ്രശംസകൾ കഥാപാത്രത്തിന് ലഭിക്കില്ലായിരുന്നു എന്നാണ്. ദൃശ്യത്തിലെ രണ്ടാംഭാഗം രാജ്യത്തുടനീളം ചർച്ച ആയതുകൊണ്ട് മരക്കാറിന് അതു കൊടുക്കുന്ന ബൂസ്റ്റ് ചെറുതല്ല. അതു പോലെ തന്നെ ദൃശ്യത്തിന് മൂന്നാം ഭാഗത്തിലെ കാര്യം ഇതിനെപ്പറ്റി ജിത്തുവിനോട് ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ “മുന്നത്തെ പോലെ ആറ് വർഷം ഒന്നും എടുക്കരുത്, രണ്ടു മൂന്ന് വർഷതിനുള്ളിൽ നമുക്ക് ഇത് ചെയ്യണം” എന്നാണ് ആൻറണി പറഞ്ഞത് എന്നാണ് ജിത്തു പറഞ്ഞത്.
