മലപ്പുറം: നാടിന്റെ തീരാദുഃഖമായി മാറിയ 22 പേരുടെ ജീവനെടുത്ത താനൂര്‍ ബോട്ട് ദുരന്തത്തിന്റെ ആഘാതമേറ്റുവാങ്ങിയ കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മണപ്പുറം ഫിനാന്‍സ് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച ധനസഹായം വിതരണം ചെയ്തു. പരപ്പനങ്ങാടി എസ്എന്‍എം ഹയര്‍ സെക്കണ്ടറി സ്‌കൂളില്‍ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച സാന്ത്വന സംഗമത്തില്‍ തിരൂരങ്ങാടി എംഎല്‍എ കെ പി എ മജീദ് ചെക്ക് കൈമാറി. മണപ്പുറം ഫിനാന്‍സ് ലിമിറ്റഡ് എക്‌സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് ഡയറക്ടര്‍ ഡോ. സുമിത നന്ദന്‍ അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. ദുരന്തത്തില്‍ ഉറ്റവരെ നഷ്ടമായ ആറ് കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ക്കായി 10 ലക്ഷം രൂപയുടെ ധനസഹായമാണ് വിതരണം ചെയ്തത്. നികത്തനാകാത്ത നഷ്ടത്തിനു പരിഹാരമല്ലെങ്കിലും അവരുടെ ദുഃഖത്തില്‍ കൂടെ നിന്ന് ചെറിയൊരു കൈത്താങ്ങാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞതിലും ഇവര്‍ക്കുള്ള സഹായം ആദ്യമെത്തിക്കാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞതിലും ചാരിതാര്‍ത്ഥ്യമുണ്ടെന്ന് ഡോ. സുമിത നന്ദന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
ദുരന്തത്തിന്റെ ആഘാതമേറ്റ മനുഷ്യര്‍ക്കൊപ്പം നില്‍ക്കാന്‍ മണപ്പുറം ഫിനാന്‍സും അതിന്റെ സാരഥി വി. പി നന്ദകുമാറും കാണിച്ച സന്മനസ്സ് ഏറെ മാതൃകാപരവും ശ്ലാഘനീയവുമാണെന്ന് കെപിഎ മജീദ് എംഎല്‍എ പറഞ്ഞു. പലരും പലവിധ സഹായങ്ങള്‍ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിലും ആദ്യമായി ധനസഹായം വിതരണം ചെയ്തത് മണപ്പുറമാണെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ത്തു.
