ഒരു റോഡും,അതിനരികിൽ പരവതാനി വിരിച്ച ആലും, ആലിൻ മടിത്തട്ടിൽ പൊന്തിയ പനയും,കീഴെ നാട്ടുകൂട്ടമിരിക്കും പാകിയ ചെങ്കല്ലുകളും ചുമട്താങ്ങിയും,മൂന്ന്ഭാഗം കൂർപ്പിച്ച് മുളച്ച് വന്ന കരിങ്കൽ ചീളുകളും, ആളുകൾ വന്നും പോയും,കൂട്ടുകൂടിയും, കുട്ടികൾ കളിച്ച് രസിച്ചും തളർന്ന ഒരു ചുവന്ന സായാഹ്നത്തിൽ, കുത്തനെ പൊന്തിയ പനയ്ക്ക്, കണ്ണിലെല്ലാം ഉറുമ്പായ് തോന്നി. അവ്യക്തമാം വിധം തോന്നിയപ്പോൾ, വിരിച്ച് താണുപോയ ആല് പനയ്ക്ക് വേണ്ടി കഥപറഞ്ഞ് തുടങ്ങി.

ആലിൻ മീതെ ചുവന്ന് കരിഞ്ഞ ആകാശവും, ചെറുതായ് മിന്നുന്ന മിന്നാമിന്നികളും.
പണ്ട് കണ്ണായിരുന്ന കടൽകരയിൽ, ബലവാൻ മഹാബലി പറഞ്ഞുവെത്രെ, സമന്മാർ നമ്മൾ, ഞാനും നിങ്ങളോളം പോന്ന ശിശുപാലൻ, കേട്ടപാതി കേൾക്കാത്ത പാതി പതിഞ്ഞുവെത്രെ സ്വരം ഉലകിൽ ” സമത്വം” ഗണം തിരിച്ചെത്രെ മനുഷ്യർ, അസുരന്റെ വാക്കാണ് വിശ്വാസമത്രവേണ്ടയെന്ന്.
പറഞ്ഞപോൽ ദേവനാണല്ലൊ ശരി, ദേവനാണല്ലൊ നീതി പാലകൻ, അപ്പോൾ അസുരന്മാർ എത്ര അസ്വസ്തർ, സമരസേനാനികൾ, നിലനിൽക്കും ഭാഷ ദേവനും ,പ്രതിഷേധഭാഷ അസുരനും.
ഇടയിൽ കനിവ്തേടി,കിനിക്കളിൽ ഇടനിലക്കാരൻ മനിതനുണ്ടായെത്രെ!

പന നേരെ മുടി നീണ്ട് തൂങ്ങിയാടും, ആലിന്റെ വേരുകൾ പരന്നും, ആഴ്ന്നിറങ്ങിയും,പനകുത്തനെ രാവിൽ നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളെ തൊടും, പനയ്ക്കകത്ത് പാൽ ചുരത്തുന്ന പെണ്ണ്. ആലിനകത്ത് തണൽ വിരിക്കുന്ന പുരുഷൻ. കഥ കേട്ടു കേട്ട്
പന കുത്തനെ വളർന്നു.കഥ പറഞ്ഞ് പറഞ്ഞ് ആല് പരന്ന് പരന്ന് പോയി.
ചന്ദ്രിക ഉടലലങ്കരിച്ച രാവിൽ, ദൂരെ ശിവപുരാണമന്ത്രം കേൾപ്പിച്ച മന്ദിരം. ആലിന്റെ നാവിൽ തങ്ങിയ കഥയുരുണ്ടുരുണ്ട് പൊട്ടി. ചന്ദ്രവംശികളെ തലയിൽ ചാർത്തി, സൂര്യവംശികൾ നൽകിയ സോമരസം നുകർന്ന്, നാഗവിഷം തുളുമ്പിയ ചിന്തയെ കഴുത്തിലണിഞ്ഞ്, ചന്ദ്രകലാധരൻ സോമരസം നുണയാൻ നിനക്ക് കീഴെ നിലയുറപ്പിച്ചിടും നാളിൽ നിനക്കുമുകളിലായ് നീ ചുരത്തും പാല് എടുത്തു വച്ചു പാർവതി, പനയേറുവാനാളെ പരുതി പരമശിവൻ. നാമിരിക്കും ദിക്കിന് പടിഞ്ഞാറ് കള്ളുമൊന്തിയ പരമശിവനിരിക്കുന്നിടം, ഉൾപുളകത്താൽ ശുക്ലം തെറിപ്പിച്ച്, വാണിടം സംരക്ഷകദൈവമായ് ഭക്തർ ഈ വഴി കടന്ന് പോയിടും കാലം, മനസിൽ നിനപ്പത് ചുമടുമായ് പാന്ഥർ ഈ കാണും ചുമടുതാങ്ങിയിൽ എത്ര വിളകൾ, വിഭവങ്ങൾ,ധനവസ്തുക്കൾ വച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടാം…….. എങ്കിലും പലദേശം…..പലഭാഷ……. പല വേഷഭൂഷാദികൾ,. അവർ വിശ്രമിക്കുന്നിടം ഈ തണൽ……

പന പറഞ്ഞു…..,.
ഞാൻ കാണുന്നു, വിശാല വിഹായസ് ഞാൻ കാണുന്നു,നക്ഷത്രരശ്മികൾ ഞാൻ കാണുന്നു,ഇരുട്ടാം സ്ത്രൈണത,…… ഞാൻ കാൺമീല, താഴെ കേണരുളും,ചെളിയഴുക്കിൽ നീന്തുന്ന ജീവിതം,……. മധു പൊഴിക്കട്ടെ ഞാൻ നീ നുണയുക, ആനന്ദത്തിൽ അർദ്ധനാരീശ്വര നൃത്തം ധന്യമായ് നമുക്ക് ചെയ്തിടാം……. ആളുകൾ വിശ്രമിക്കട്ടെ നമ്മുടെ തണലിൽ, നമുക്ക് മഴയെ വിളിച്ചു വരുത്താം.. വെന്തഭൂമി കൂളിർക്കട്ടെ….. ഞാനാദ്യം സോമരസം നിന്നെ കുടിപ്പിക്കാം.
ആലിനിനിയും കഥയുണ്ടതിനാൽ തെല്ലുനേരം നിർത്തുക സുഖചിന്തകൾ, ചരിത്രത്തിൽ പണ്ട്. .പണ്ട് ഇവിടെ ജന്മിമാരുണ്ടായിരുന്നെത്രെ! അവർ പരസ്പരം കുടിപ്പക സൂക്ഷിക്കുവോരെത്രെ, അടിമ പണിക്കാർക്കും ദരിദ്രർക്കുമുടയോൻ.
പന ആലിനാൽ പൊന്തിയ തണലിൽ രണ്ടുപേർ കുത്തിയിരിപ്പുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവർ അന്യദേശക്കാരായിരുന്നു. “വർഗ്ഗസമരം” എന്നവർ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ അടുത്തിരുന്ന കരിങ്കല്ല് ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചത്, ഒരു നാൾ പാടത്തീന്ന് ചവിട്ടേറ്റ കർഷക കരിങ്കല്ലിൽ കത്തിയുരസിയപ്പോൾ ചോരപൊടിഞ്ഞിരുന്നെത്രെ!. ചുവപ്പ് മൂടിയ കരിങ്കല്ലിൽ മൂർച്ച കൂട്ടി,പിറ്റെ ദിവസം ജന്മിയുടെ മൂക്ക് ചെത്തി ഉപ്പിലിട്ട് അച്ചാറുണ്ടാക്കി,തൊട്ട് നക്കി, പന ചുരത്തിലെ ലഹരിയും മോന്തി, നൃത്തം വച്ച്, പാടത്തെ പെണ്ണുങ്ങൾ വർഗ്ഗബോധം കാട്ടി തുടങ്ങി, കമ്മാട്ത്തു മാറിൽ തോർത്തിട്ട് നടക്കും നാളിൽ,…..
ഞാനും എന്റെ പനയാലപ്പനും സാക്ഷി, രായ്ക്കുരാമാനം കൊടികുത്തി, മുദ്രാവാക്യം വിളിച്ച്,ആളെ കൂട്ടി, ശിവതാണ്ഡവം കാണിച്ച്,തൃക്കണ്ണ് പിളർത്തി ഭസ്മമാക്കി,അധികാരികളെ ഞെട്ടിച്ച് ഇരുപ്പുറപ്പിച്ചകാലം, ആദ്യത്തെ ചുവപ്പ് ഗ്രാമമെന്ന് മുദ്രകുത്തപ്പെട്ട ലോകചരിത്രം.
കുറിവച്ച് ,കുറിവിളിച്ച്, വിഭവസമൃദ്ധം സദ്യയുണ്ട്, ഏമ്പക്കം വിട്ട്,മേലാളനെ അനുകരിച്ച്,വെറ്റിലേം മുറുക്കി, നീട്ടി തുപ്പി,നീയോ ഞാനോ വമ്പനെന്ന് തീർച്ചപ്പെടുത്തി, ബാക്കി പണംകൊണ്ട് ചരക്ക് മേടിച്ച്, തലയിൽ വച്ച്,കണ്ടൻ കോരനും കമ്മാട്ത്തുവും നടന്ന് നീങ്ങി, ചുമട്താങ്ങിക്ക് മേൽ കെട്ട് വച്ചു. പനയെ ഉയർത്തിയ ആലിൻ ചുവട്ടിൽ ഇരുന്ന് കരിങ്കല്ലിനെ വലം വച്ച കാലം. ചോര പൊന്തിയ കല്ലിൽ നിന്നും നെറ്റിയിൽ കുറി തൊട്ട്,കോരൻ വലത്കൈ പിടിച്ച് ചാപ്പകെട്ടാൻ സ്ഥലമന്വേഷിച്ച കാലം.

ആലിന്റെ വേരുകൾ കൂടുതൽ ആഴത്തിലും കൂടുതൽ പരന്നും ആ ദേശത്തിന്റെ മേലിൽ അധികാരചിഹ്നമായ് മാറി.
പണ്ട് രണ്ട് കമ്മ്യൂണിസ്റ്റുകാർ ആലിനാൽ ചുറ്റപ്പെട്ട പനയ്ക്കടിയിൽ ഇരുന്ന്, ഉള്ളവന്റെ കൈയിൽ നിന്ന് പിടിച്ച് വാങ്ങണൊ,അതൊ നമ്മുടെ ആശയത്തിൽ ലയിച്ച് ഉള്ളവൻ ഇല്ലാത്തവന് വേണ്ടി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുമൊ? . എന്ന് ചർച്ച ചെയ്യുന്ന കാലത്തിൽ, ബുദ്ധനെ അനുസരിക്കുമാറ്, ഉള്ളതെല്ലാം ഇല്ലാത്തവന് വീതിച്ച് നൽകി , ജന്മാവകാശി ഭിക്ഷുവായ് , കരിങ്കല്ലിൽ പൊടിയുന്ന ചോരയെ സാക്ഷി നിർത്തി,നിങ്ങൾ തന്ന ഭിക്ഷയാണെനിക്ക് ജീവിതം എന്ന ആശയത്തിലകപ്പെട്ട്, മറ്റുള്ളവർക്കകപ്പെടാൻ പ്രേരണ നൽകിയ കാലം.
ഇപ്പോൾ പനങ്കായ കറുത്ത് തുടങ്ങി, കുറഞ്ഞൊരു ചുവപ്പ് നിറം അതിനെ പൊതിഞ്ഞു.ആലിന്റെ വേരുകൾ അന്യദേശത്തേക്ക് പരന്നു തുടങ്ങി.ആലിപ്പഴം പെറുക്കാൻ അടിയാത്തി കുട്ടികൾ വന്ന് തുടങ്ങി. ആലിന്റെ വേരുകൾ പനയ്ക്ക് ചുറ്റും വരിഞ്ഞു നിന്നു.പന ഒരു കായ താഴേയ്ക്കിട്ടു.അതിന്റെ തോട് പൊളിക്കാൻ വെട്ടിയവെട്ടൊക്കെ, കത്തിപ്പിടി അറ്റുപോയി, ഇപ്പോൽ പനയുടെ വേരുകൾ ചെടിച്ചട്ടിയുടെ ഉള്ളിലേക്ക് കുത്തി…….. ആലിന്റെ വേദന തുടങ്ങി.അതുവഴി കാട്ടാനക്കൂട്ടം പനതേങ്ങകൾ ഉടച്ച് അകത്താക്കി ചിന്നം വിളിച്ച്, പനയെ ഒന്ന് കുലുക്കി ,പനമേൽ മുട്ടവച്ച കാക്കകൾ ചിതറി പോയതും,ഒരു ഇളം മുട്ടയെ ആലിലകൾ പൊതിഞ്ഞു സൂക്ഷിച്ചതും,പന മാറ്റി കാക്കകൾ ആലിനെ ആശ്രയിച്ചതും,ആൽപഴം കാലുകൊണ്ട് അമർത്തി ചവിട്ടി കൊക്കുകൊണ്ട് കൊത്തി പറിച്ചതും, ബാക്കി ഭാഗം കൊക്കിലൊതുക്കി,കൂട്ടിലെത്തിച്ചതും, പാപ്പാൻ പന ഉയരത്തെ കാണാൻ ശ്രമിച്ച് മനസിലെന്തൊ കണക്ക് കൂട്ടി.
പന ചോദിച്ചു
“പാപ്പാനെന്താ ചിന്തിച്ചത്?”
അയാൾക്ക് പുരപുറം ചായുന്നുണ്ടോ എന്ന് നോക്കിയായിരുന്നു.
ആനകൾ പനയെ എന്ത് ചെയ്തു?
ആല് ചിരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് പിന്നെം പനയെ മടിയിലിരുത്തി.പനയും ആലും ഊടുവഴികളും കാട്ടാനകളും നടന്ന് പോകും വഴിയായതിനാൽ, ആനകൾ പനയുടെ മേലിൽ കസർത്ത് കാട്ടി. വിശക്കുമ്പോഴെല്ലാം……….. ചൊറിയുമ്പോഴെല്ലാം………
ആല് “വാതകം പോലെ പരന്നും, റോക്കറ്റ് പോലെ ഉയർന്നും” ഏതാണ് നിനക്കിഷ്ടമെന്ന് ചൊദിച്ചു?
പന പറഞ്ഞു”റോക്കറ്റ് പോലെ ഉയർന്ന്”
കടലിൽ നിന്ന് കാട്ട് പാച്ചിൽ വെള്ളം കുത്തനെ ഇറങ്ങിയ കാലത്ത് മനുഷ്യർ, മൃഗങ്ങൾ, പക്ഷികൾക്കഭയം ആലിന്നുടൽ, പനമുകളിലെ പക്ഷികൾ സന്ദേശങ്ങൾ നാല് ഭാഗത്തും പറന്ന്, അങ്ങനെ സ്വപ്നത്തിന്നുടലിൽ നിന്ന് നമ്മൾ പരോപകാരികളെന്ന് പ്രത്യക്ഷ അനുമാനിക്കാം സ്വപ്നവേഗത്തിൽ.
പന അപ്പോൾ ഉയരത്തിലേക്ക് നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളെ തൊടുമാറ് പൊന്തി.
“ഇനി കഥ കേൾക്കാൻ കെൽപുണ്ടൊ?”
ആലിന്റെ വേരുകൾ കൂടുതൽ ആഴത്തിലും കൂടുതൽ പരന്നും, ആ ദേശത്തിന്റെ മേൽ അധികാരചിഹ്നമായ് മാറി. ചോരപൊട്ടിയ കരിങ്കല്ലിനെ വേരിനാൽ പൊതിഞ്ഞ് അരിവാളിന്റെ ചുവന്ന ആകൃതി മാത്രം പുറത്ത് കാട്ടി. ഞെക്കി പിഴിഞ്ഞ് ആവേശമുണ്ടാക്കി.
കഥ കേൾക്കുന്തോറും പനയിൽ ബീജസങ്കലനം നടന്ന് പാൽചുരത്താൻ പാകത്തിന് മദിച്ച് പൂത്ത് കൊഴുത്ത് തടിച്ചുരുണ്ടു.

പിന്നെയും പണ്ടിവിടെ ജന്മിമാരുണ്ടായിരുന്നെത്രെ ബ്രിട്ടീഷുകാർ വന്നപ്പോൾ അവർക്ക് ജയ് വിളിച്ചും, കോൺഗ്രസുകാർ വന്നപ്പോൾ അവർക്ക് ജയ് വിളിച്ചും, കമ്മ്യൂണിസ്റ്റുകാർ വന്നപ്പോൾ അവർക്ക് ജയ് വിളിച്ചും, പണിയെടുപ്പിച്ചു വാണവർ, പണിയെടുപ്പിച്ചോണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നവർ, അധികാരത്തിന്റെ അയലങ്ങളിൽ വാണവർ, പക്ഷേ പനയ്ക്കിടയിലെ ആലിൻ ചുവട്ടിൽ വന്നാൽ അവർ പേടിച്ചിരുന്നു. ആ സമയം ആലിനോട് ചെയ്ത കുറ്റങ്ങളും, ചെയ്യാൻ പോകുന്ന കുറ്റങ്ങളും പറഞ്ഞ് കരിങ്കല്ലിനെ തൊഴുത് പോകുമായിരുന്നു.
ബലവാൻ കുട്ടൻ ആലിനടിയിലിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ പത്തിരട്ടി ബലവും നൂറിരട്ടി വേഗതയും ഉള്ളതിനാൽ ആ കരിങ്കല്ലിനെ രണ്ടാക്കി പിളർത്തി,ചോരയൊഴുകും വഴി ചാല് കീറി.ചോര തെറിപ്പിച്ച് ശുദ്ധമാക്കിയ സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ,കലാമന്ദിരങ്ങളും, വിദ്യാലയങ്ങളും,മറ്റ് ജനസേവന കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടായെത്രെ…..
ആലിൻ വള്ളിയിൽ തൂങ്ങിയാടും കുട്ടികൾ പനയെ പേടിച്ചും ഉൾപുളകത്താൽ ആലിനെ സ്നേഹിച്ചും, ഉച്ചയൂണിന് ശേഷം കളിക്കാറുണ്ടെത്രെ!……. ആലിന്റെ വേരുകൾ പാമ്പുപോലിരുന്നാലും അവർ അതിനെ പിടിച്ച് തൂങ്ങിയാടുമെത്രെ,വണ്ടി കളിക്കുമെത്രെ!.
നാട്ട് കൂട്ടം കൂടും ആലിൻ ചുവട്ടിൽ, നാട്ടറിവുകൾ വിളമ്പും ആലിൻ ചുവട്ടിൽ വിളക്ക് തെറിച്ച വിടർന്ന കൈ പോലെ ആലിനെ ബാക്കിയാക്കി പനയുടെ മണ്ട പൊളിഞ്ഞു വീണെത്രെ!.
ഇനി കഥ വേണ്ടെന്ന് പറയാൻ മറന്ന പന ഒരു കാട്ടു വെള്ളപ്പാച്ചലിൽ തൊണിയായ് പോയത്രെ!. രക്ഷപ്പെടാൻ രണ്ടുമൂന്നാളുകൾ പനത്തടിയിലിരുന്നെത്രെ!. ആലിനെ മൂടിയ വെള്ളത്തിൽ,പനയൊഴുകിപോയത് കണ്ട്, കലക്ക് വെള്ളത്തിലൂടെ ആലിന്റെ വേരുകൾ പനയെ പിടിക്കാൻ പോയെത്രെ!.
കുഞ്ഞിനെ പോലെ തോളത്ത് വച്ച് വാനോളം ഉയർത്തിയ ആലിന്റെ താഴ് വേര് പൊഴിയുമെന്നാശപ്പോൾ ആല് പിൻവലിഞ്ഞെത്രെ!. പനയുടെ കഥയും,നടന്നസംഭവവും കൂടികലർന്ന് കഥയേതാ…. സത്യമേതാ…… എന്നറിയാത്തവനായ ഒരുവൻ, വായിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞ കഥയുടെ ബാക്കി വായിക്കാൻ ആരുമുണ്ടാവില്ലെന്നറിഞ്ഞവൻ, വായിച്ച കഥയിലെ ചില ഭാഗങ്ങളാണിതെന്ന് ചരിത്രം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയുട്ടുണ്ടെത്രെ!.
ആലിനു കഥ പറയാനാരുമില്ലാണ്ടായ കാലത്തിൽ, ആല് പഴം പെറുക്കാൻ വന്ന കുട്ടികളോടും, സായാഹ്നത്തിൽ ആൽത്തറയിലിരിക്കുന്ന വൃദ്ധരോടും, നാട്ട്കാരോടും, ഉണങ്ങിയ ഇലകളിൽ രേഖയുണ്ടാക്കി, താഴേക്കിട്ടുവെത്രെ!.
ആലിലയുടെ വേരുകൾ പോലെ അതും നിഘൂഢവും അവ്യക്തവുമായ കഥകളായ് അവശേഷിച്ചു.
അറിവധികാരമാകുന്ന കാലത്തിൽ ആലിലകൾ കൂട്ടിയിട്ടു തീ കായുന്ന മഞ്ഞുമാസത്തിൽ തീയിൽ കൂടെയും പുകയിൽ കൂടെയും, കഥ പൊന്തി നാടൊട്ടുക്ക് പാടിനതന്ന് എല്ലാവരേയും അറിയിച്ചെത്രെ!. ആദി പുരാതനകാലം നമ്മുടെ ഗ്രാമം പനയാല്, നമ്മുടെ നാട് പനയാല്, ആലയവിറക്കും കഥയാണ് നമ്മുടെ കഥ.പിഴുതെറിയപ്പെട്ട പനയുടെ വേദനയാണ് നമ്മുടെ വേദന.
