കൊച്ചി: കേരള സര്‍ക്കാരിന്റെ കീഴിലുള്ള പൊതുമേഖല സ്ഥാപനമായ കേരള ഇലക്ട്രിക്കല്‍ ആന്‍ഡ് അലൈഡ് എഞ്ചിനീയറിങ് കമ്പനിയുടെ (കെല്‍) മാമലയിലെ പവര്‍ ട്രാന്‍സ്‌ഫോര്‍മര്‍ നിര്‍മാണ യൂണിറ്റ് ഫെബ്രുവരി 9-ന് രാവിലെ 11.30-ന് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പിണറായി വിജയന്‍ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്യും. മാമല യൂണിറ്റില്‍ വ്യവസായ മന്ത്രി ഇ.പി. ജയരാജന്‍ അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിക്കുന്ന ചടങ്ങില്‍ വീഡിയോ കോണ്‍ഫറന്‍സ് വഴിയാണ് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിര്‍വഹിക്കുക. വൈദ്യുതി മന്ത്രി എം.എം. മണി ചടങ്ങില്‍ മുഖ്യാതിഥിയായിരിക്കും. പുതിയ പ്ലാന്റിന് മുന്നില്‍ സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന വൈദ്യുതി വാഹന ചാര്‍ജിങ് സ്റ്റേഷന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനവും ചടങ്ങില്‍ നടക്കും.
സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ അനുവദിച്ച 12.5 കോടി രൂപയ്ക്കാണ് പവര്‍ ട്രാന്‍സ്‌ഫോര്‍മര്‍ നിര്‍മാണ പ്ലാന്റ് സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. 10 എംവിഎ വരെ ശേഷിയുള്ള ട്രാന്‍സ്‌ഫോര്‍മറുകള്‍ നിര്‍മിക്കാനാകുന്നതാണ് കെല്ലിന്റെ ചരിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന നാഴികകല്ലാകുന്ന ഈ പ്ലാന്റെന്ന് കെല്‍ എംഡി കേണല്‍ ഷാജി എം. വര്‍ഗീസ് പറഞ്ഞു. പവര്‍ ട്രാന്‍സ്‌ഫോര്‍മറുകളുടെ പരീക്ഷണ നിര്‍മാണം പ്ലാന്റില്‍ വിജയകരമായി നടക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം അറിയിച്ചു. പ്രതിവര്‍ഷം 1500 എംവിഎയാണ് പ്ലാന്റിന്റെ നിര്‍മാണശേഷി. മാമലയിലെ ഈ പ്ലാന്റില്‍ നിന്നും വിറ്റുവരവില്‍ 47 കോടി രൂപയുടെയും അറ്റാദായത്തില്‍ 2.53 കോടി രൂപയുടെയും വര്‍ധനവ് കമ്പനി പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.
വൈദ്യുത വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ക്കുള്ള ചാര്‍ജിങ് യൂണിറ്റുകളുടെ നിര്‍മാണം ആരംഭിക്കുന്നതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായാണ് പവര്‍ ട്രാന്‍സ്‌ഫോര്‍മര്‍ പ്ലാന്റിന് സമീപമായി കൊച്ചി-ധനുഷ്‌കോടി ദേശീയപാതയില്‍ വൈദ്യുത വാഹന ചാര്‍ജിങ് സ്റ്റേഷന്‍ കമ്പനി സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഈ ചാര്‍ജിങ് സ്റ്റേഷന്‍ എറണാകുളത്ത് നിന്നും മൂവാറ്റുപുഴ, കോതമംഗലം, ഇടുക്കി, മൂന്നാര്‍ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലേക്ക് പോകുന്ന വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഉപകാരപ്പെടുമെന്ന് കേണല്‍ ഷാജി എം. വര്‍ഗീസ് പറഞ്ഞു.
ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ വൈദ്യുത വാഹനങ്ങളോടുള്ള കമ്പം വര്‍ധിച്ചു വരുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ വരും വര്‍ഷങ്ങളില്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ വൈദ്യുത വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ റോഡുകളിലെത്തുമെന്നാണ് പ്രതീക്ഷയെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ത്തു.
പവര്‍ ട്രാന്‍സ്‌ഫോര്‍മര്‍ പ്ലാന്റിനോട് അനുബന്ധിച്ച് ട്രാന്‍സ്‌ഫോര്‍മറുകളുടെയും മറ്റ് ഊര്‍ജ ഉപകരണങ്ങളുടെയും ഇലക്ട്രോണിക് ഉപകരണങ്ങളുടെയും ടെസ്റ്റിങ്ങിനും സര്‍ട്ടിഫിക്കേഷനുമായി എന്‍എബിഎല്‍ അംഗീകൃത ലാബ് സ്ഥാപിക്കാനും കമ്പനിക്ക് പദ്ധതിയുണ്ട്. പദ്ധതി അംഗീകാരത്തിനായി സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാരിന് സമര്‍പ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ലാബ് യാഥാര്‍ഥ്യമാകുന്നതോടെ സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ട്രാന്‍സ്‌ഫോര്‍മറും മറ്റ് ഊര്‍ജ ഉപകരണങ്ങളും നിര്‍മിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് മറ്റ് സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലെ ലാബുകളെ ആശ്രയിക്കേണ്ടി വരില്ല.
