തലശ്ശേരിയിൽ വ്യാപകമാകുന്ന മയക്കുമരുന്ന് വിപത്തിനെതിരെ ഗ്രാമ സ്വരാജ് ഫൗണ്ടേഷൻ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച സത്യാഗ്രഹ സമരം അഞ്ച് ദിവസം പിന്നിട്ടു. കടൽപാലത്തിന് സമീപം ഒരുക്കിയ സമര പന്തലിൽ വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച പള്ള്യൻ പ്രമോദ് നിരാഹാരമിരുന്നു. പരിസ്ഥിതി പ്രവർത്തകൻ സി വി രാജൻ പെരിങ്ങാടി ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. ഫെബ്രുവരി 15ന് ആരംഭിച്ച സമരം 20 ന് അവസാനിക്കും.
