2016 ലെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ
20787 വോട്ട് ബി ജെ പി ക്ക് ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നു അതായത് ആകെ പോൾ ചെയ്തതിൻ്റെ 16.8%
കെ പി മോഹനന് കിട്ടിയ വോട്ട് 54722 – 37.27 %
കെ കെ ശൈലജക്ക് കിട്ടിയത് 67013 വോട്ടും 45.64% 12291 വോട്ടിൻ്റെ ഭൂരിപക്ഷം കെ കെ ശൈലജ ക്ക് ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നു കെ പി മോഹനൻ്റെ രണ്ട് അപരന്മാർ 1396 പിടിച്ചു
