കാഞ്ഞിരംകുളം കെ.എൻ.എം. ഗവ.കോളേജിൽ ഒന്നാം വർഷ ഡിഗ്രിക്ക് പഠിക്കുമ്പോൾ വീട്ടുകാരുടെ ഇഷ്ടത്തെ എതിർത്ത് കൂട്ടുകാരനൊത്ത് ജീവിതം തുടങ്ങി. ഒരു കുഞ്ഞ് ജനിച്ച് ആറുമാസമായതോടെ ആ കൂട്ടും നഷ്ടമായി. കൈക്കുഞ്ഞുമായി സ്വന്തം വീട്ടിലേക്ക്‌ മടങ്ങിയെങ്കിലും ദുരഭിമാനത്തിന്റെ വേലിക്കെട്ടുകൾ അവിടെ തടസ്സം സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു.അമ്മൂമ്മയുടെ വീടിന്റെ ചായ്പിൽ മകനെയുംകൊണ്ട് ജീവിതം തുടങ്ങി…….

കറിപ്പൗഡറും സോപ്പും വീടുകളിൽ കൊണ്ടുനടന്ന് കച്ചവടം നടത്തി. ഇൻഷുറൻസ് ഏജന്റായി. വിദ്യാർഥികൾക്ക് പ്രൊജക്ടും റെക്കോഡും തയ്യാറാക്കിക്കൊടുത്തു. സാധനങ്ങൾ ബൈക്കിൽ വീടുകളിൽ എത്തിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു. ഉത്സവവേദികളിൽ ചെറിയ കച്ചവടങ്ങൾക്ക് പലരുടെയും ഒപ്പംകൂടി. ഇതിനിടയിൽ കോളേജിൽ ക്ലാസിനുംപോയി സോഷ്യോളജിയിൽ ബിരുദം നേടി…

കൈക്കുഞ്ഞിനെയുംകൊണ്ട് പലയിടത്തായി മാസങ്ങളുടെ ഇടവേളയിൽ മാറിമാറിത്താമസിച്ചു. ആൺകുട്ടികളെപ്പോലെ മുടിവെട്ടി. മകൻ ശിവസൂര്യയുടെ അപ്പയായി. ചേട്ടനും അനിയനുമാണെന്ന് പലരും ഒറ്റനോട്ടത്തിൽ കരുതി…….

2014-ൽ സുഹൃത്തിന്റെ പ്രേരണയിൽ വനിതകളുടെ എസ്.ഐ. പരീക്ഷ എഴുതാൻ തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തെ പരിശീലന കേന്ദ്രത്തിൽ ചേർന്നു. വനിതാ പോലീസ് തസ്തികയിലേക്കും പരീക്ഷയെഴുതി.2016-ൽ വനിതാപോലീസായി ജോലി ലഭിച്ചു. 2019-ൽ എസ്.ഐ. പരീക്ഷയിലും വിജയം. പരിശീലനത്തിനുശേഷം 2021 ജൂൺ 25-ന് വർക്കലയിൽ എസ്.ഐ.യായി ആദ്യനിയമനം…….
