എൻ കാലിടറുമ്പോൾ താങ്ങീ  നിൻ കൈകൾ
നിൻ സ്വരമൊന്നിടറിയാൽ  ഞാനറിഞ്ഞു
ഒന്നായി തീർത്തൂ നമ്മളൊരു ലോകം
ഇഷ്ടങ്ങളെല്ലാം ചേർത്തൊരു ലോകം
നഷ്ടങ്ങളെല്ലാം മറന്നാലോകത്തിൽ
ഒന്നായി ജീവിച്ചു  നമ്മളാ കാലം
കണ്ട കിനാക്കളിൻ അഴക് കുറഞ്ഞോ
മോഹത്തിൻ തളിരുകൾ വാടിക്കരിഞ്ഞോ
മാറിയോ നമ്മൾ തൻ ഇഷ്ടങ്ങളൊക്കെയും
അറിയാതെ അകന്നുവോ നാമിരുപേരും
എൻ മൗനത്തിൻ  പൊരുൾ  നീ അറിഞ്ഞതില്ല
നിൻ സ്വര പതർച്ച ഞാനുമറിഞ്ഞീലാ
എന്തിനായ്  ശഠിച്ചൂ  നാം എന്നറിവീലാ
ജയിച്ചെന്നിരുവരും  നിനച്ചെങ്കിലും വൃഥാ
കാലമാം ശിശിരത്തിൻ ഇലകൾ പൊഴിയവെ
അറിഞ്ഞൂ നാമിരുവരും തങ്ങൾ തൻ തെറ്റുകൾ
മനസ്സു തുറന്നൊന്നു പൊട്ടിക്കരയുവാൻ
മനസ്സറിഞ്ഞൊന്നു കെട്ടിപ്പുണരുവാൻ
കൊതിച്ചൂ  സദാ നാമിരുവരും മനസ്സാലെ
അറികിലും പാഴ് മോഹമാണെന്ന സത്യം
